Take a walk on the wild side and breath in the woodsy aromas of this Woodland TEA.

With pine needles (specifically from Scots Pine), hawthorn leaves, birch buds & twigs, purple dead nettle, cleavers, nettle and wild garlic, this tea is guaranteed to put the Spring back into your stride.  All freshly picked & dried here, at the first sign of Spring.

Studies have shown cleavers to be alterative, anti inflammatory, aperient, astringent, diuretic, febrifuge, depurative, vulnerary and a lymphatic tonic!

8 properties, high vitamin C and flavonoids ( beneficial to the immune system), iron, abundant vitamins & allergy reducing effects.  In the 17th century, Culpepper has much to say about it in his book of 'Natural Remedies for Ancient Ills'.

Pine needles have been found to have high levels of vitamin C (five times that of lemons), vitamin A, and antioxidants.

Hawthorn leaves have been shown to increase circulation & combat heart disease.

Birch buds have been found to be high in flavonoids, saponins and tannins, and its twigs to be anti inflammatory, good for digestion & the immune system.

Nettles are highly prized for their anti inflammatory and diuretic value (removing uric acid & preventing kidney stones from forming) - also rich in vitamins & useful for treating arthritis, gout & prostate conditions.

Wild garlic is known as the 'Magnesium King' of plants, with high levels of magnesium,  protecting the heart & lowering blood pressure.  Also valued for its antimicrobial & anti inflammatory properties.

This 'T' stands for tonic - without a doubt about it.  It's tasty, and as fresh as a spring day!
